Welcome

Pilates With Laura

I'm Laura Collin, a Level 3 Pilates Instructor based in Bedfordshire. I teach in-person classes across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, as well as live online sessions via Zoom.

My background in group fitness and breathwork shapes the way I teach - but Pilates is at the heart of everything. These classes are for real people with real lives: the ones who want to stay strong, move without pain, and keep doing the things that matter to them.

Welcome to Pilates
with Laura

Pilates works best when it fits your actual life. Not as a performance, not as a goal to chase - just as something that helps you move well, feel stronger, and get on with the things you love. That's what these classes are for.

I teach in-person in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, and online via Zoom for those who prefer to roll out a mat at home. The classes are mixed level, which means you don't need any experience to walk in - and if you've been practising for years, there's still plenty here for you.

Most people who come to my classes keep coming back. Not just because Pilates makes a difference - though it does - but because the classes feel like somewhere they belong. That matters to me as much as the movement itself.

If you're not sure where to start, take a look at the classes page to see what's on and when. And if you'd like a bit of guidance before you come along, just get in touch - I'm happy to help you find the right fit.

What Pilates Does For You

Pilates builds the kind of strength that holds you up through an ordinary week. The sort that means you can sit at a desk without your back complaining, carry the shopping without thinking twice, or keep up with grandchildren without paying for it the next day.

It's not about pushing hard or performing. It's about moving well - and moving well for a long time. Regular practice improves posture, builds core stability, and helps your joints move as they should. Most people notice the difference in everyday life before they notice it in class.

It's also adaptable. If something isn't working for your body on a given day, there's always another way to approach it. That's as true for someone coming to their first ever class as it is for someone who has been practising for years.
